We have closed all our trails as the warm weather has brought everything down to mud and grass. Trails will remain closed unless we receive colder temps and a substantial amount of Snow. Thanks go out to all who joined our club this season, our small core of volunteers and most importantly, our gracious landowners who allow this trail system to exist. Thumps up to our groomer operators who did a fantastic job this year!!

WOW!! what a cool picture. This is just one of the many views one can esperience on a snowmobile. Snowmobiling allows one to get out on a winters day and enjoy fantatic scenery you will not see any other timeof the year. Follow the trail system that alows one to travel places that are not accesible in any other season. And the best part, fun with new and old friends. Winter is waiting, get out and enjoy it!!

Out grooming the late nigjht shift. Trails have been holding us well and we continue to groom every night as conditions warant. We have noted a very disappointing trend, one that threatens the trail system as we all know and enjoy. OFF TRAIL RIDING. This is the biggest reason for losing trails. Volunteers seek permission from landowners for aTRAIL SYSTEM, not to roam all over their property. The area between stakes is the only LEGAL area granted by private landowners. So for those of you who persist in ignoring this basic rule, you may not be doing so mutch longer as these trails may end up CLOSED, PERMENTLY. It is up to all of us to do our share to protect this wonderful sport. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, STAY ON THE MARKED TRAIL!!.

The recent snowstorm has brought much needed snow to our trail system. 8 inches and up was a welcomed snow event. This will help the Orleans area that has been plaged by low snow and icy conditions. Keep in mind this was a dry fluffy snow and will take time to pack to provide that great hard trail. Groomer will continue to run to work this new snow into shape. Great news, this will provide good condition for the 30th Nicholas Gage Poker Run this weekend!! Do not miss this fun filled day!!

Monday night grooming!! While trails in the Orleans area may be thin, conditions on top of Westmore mountain are shapping up great. This section of VAST corridor 5 from the OS15 junction with the Brighton Snowmobile Club reaching to the turn around with the Burke Drift Skippers has good snow cover. The 'Trail From Hell' is in decnt condition and we have been working to make some improvents to hopfully freeze it up solid this coming weekend cold snap. Don't forget Sat the 31st, the 30TH NICHOLAS GAGE POKER RUN. Check this out and come enjoy.
