Diamond Girlz 8u Fastpitch Softball

Diamond Girlz 8U (Rinne) is looking for a few more players to complete their roster for the Spring 2016 season. We will have an open practice this Wednesday evening at 6:15pm at Soldier's Creek in Longwood on Field 3. Our team is made of all 07/08 girls looking to develop together and stay together. We had a terrific fall season, finishing 2nd at the South Florida USSSA tournament and 1st at the North Florida USSSA Championship.

We practice two days a week at Soldierś Creek in Longwood and also have agility and strength training one day a week in Oviedo. Our coaches our experienced, level-headed and encouraging but will hold their girls to high standards. We believe in HUSTLE and ATTITUDE and we expect their personal best at every practice and at every position.

Tryouts this Sunday!! Diamond Girlz 8U (Rinne) is looking for two players to complete their roster for the Spring 2016 season. We will holding tryouts January 17th 2-4pm at Forest City Elementary, 1010 Sand Lake Rd. Altamonte Springs, FL 32714. Our team is made of all 07/08 girls looking to develop together and stay together. We had a terrific fall season, finishing 2nd at the South Florida USSSA tournament and 1st at the North Florida USSSA Championship. We will be opening the spring season with the West Orange Girls Club NSA league every other Sunday in February and March. We will also work other tournaments into our schedule as well, mostly USSSA. We will also be playing Brianna Cox, State and National tournaments (Panama and/or Disney).

We had a Great time today at our end of season Christmas get together. The girls had fun bowling and did a sock exchange! We even awarded a trophy for the highest game overall....to Jaiden with a 127!!

As if being the top team in Florida wasn't enough, the girls are Nationally ranked #1 9U team in the USSSA standings!! Way to go Girlz!!

And the DG 8u finished the season strong bringing home the North Florida State USSSA Championship after battling through 5 games today!! Great job girls we are so proud of you!! Special thanks to our friends from DG10u Pitttard for guest playing this weekend... And our older DG siblings for their dugout support and motivation!!
