Orlando’s own Jordan Lee is the 2026 World Tennis Tour Junior Finals boys’ champion! 🏆

The 16-year-old, coached by his mom Tina Lee at the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona, beat Slovenia’s Ziga Sesko 6-3, 7-5 in Chengdu, China, avenging a group-play loss earlier that week. 🔥 He’s the first American boy to win the title since Brandon Nakashima in 2018, capping a year that already included a Wimbledon boys’ singles crown. 👏

USTA Florida is launching "Team Play Fall Ball," a statewide pilot bringing team-based tennis competition to junior players this fall. 🎾🌴

The pilots run through two tracks: Facility Hubs at five Florida facilities, including three operated or managed by USTA Florida, and school-based programs at Viera High School and in Lee County. 🏫 Each one is designed to give juniors a low-barrier pathway into match play, with local matches, flexible formats, and a team environment close to home. 🙌

"Team play is about giving every junior player an opportunity to play in a fun and social environment." — Katie Bivolan, USTA Florida Youth Team Play Project Lead

Each pilot will be evaluated at the end of the fall season, tracking participation, retention, and family feedback to shape how USTA Florida expands team play statewide in 2027. 📈
