Pekiti Tirsia Kali Makilas, Filipino Fighting Arts KALI a Filipino Martial Arts System based on the ancient Edge and Impact weapons fighting art of the Kali is the indigenous fighting art of the Philippines.

Makilas means to be very aware in warfare as a high spiritual warrior. With its Cultural and Philosophical values its history traces back more than 1500 to 2000 years in the past. The Pekiti-Tirsia system of Kali is the family system of the Tortal Family in which Makilas follows the strict teachings of Tuhon Rommel Tortal. The system is based on logical and consequent Self-Protection System, which is based on the Strategic and Tactical application of Counter-Offensive techniques as defense.

On behalf of Creations for Cures team and myself, I would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who joined, attended, logged in, and contributed to an organization that is dedicated to making a significant difference in the lives of children. It was truly amazing to witness strangers from all over the world come together through PTK and support the healing power of art for children battling cancer and other serious illnesses. To those who were unable to attend but still donated, a heartfelt thank you! I am honored to be part of such a generous and compassionate community.
