Japanese Rugby Football Club of Chicago - シカゴラグビー少年団 Any players are welcome to join us. We have training sessions on Saturdays from 9:30am at Busse Woods in Rolling Meadows, IL.

あけましておめでとうございます🌅
今年もシカゴラグビー少年団は元気にラグビーを楽しみます🏉

昨年13に開催された日系ラグビーチームによる全米対抗戦が開催されました。

今年は初めてのOrlando開催。
極寒のシカゴから来ると、程よく暖かくて最高の避寒地でした。

試合はLAとの合同チーム。
おじさん多めでしたが、なかなか善戦できたのでは。

来年の開催地は未定ですが、
ラグビー少年（？）が集まる時間はいつでも良いものですね。

Japan Cup on 12/13 🏉
First time in Orlando this year.
Perfect weather and a great escape from cold Chicago.

Played as a combined team with LA.
Plenty of old guys, but we competed well.

Not sure where next year will be,
but it’s always good to see rugby lovers get together.

外は雪が積もってさすがに練習はきびしい状況でしたが、来週の大会に向けて最後の調整！❄️💪
タックルや当たりの確認、フィットネスも入れて試合に耐えうる強度までしっかり追い込みました！🔥
あと1週間、いい準備して本番に臨みます！🏉
Tough session today with all the snow, but we pushed through for our final prep for next week’s tournament.
Worked on tackles, contact, and fitness to get match-ready! 💪🏉

Japan Cupまであと3週間🔥
今日は実戦を想定したトレーニング🏉
アタック → ラック → オーバー → ラインメイクの流れを確認。
ディフェンスはどちらにラインを作られるか瞬時に判断してポイントアウト⚡
自分の立ち位置から“何をすべきか”を素早く判断して動くことが大事💨

Just 3 weeks to go until the Japan Cup🔥
Today we worked on game-like situations🏉
Attack → ruck → clear-out → line setup.
On defense, read the direction quickly and push out to the point⚡
React fast from your position and move with purpose💨

昨日はここ最近では珍しく暖かく、とても気持ちよく練習できました！
基礎ドリルからフィットネス、そしてガッツリ当たりのフィジカルまで盛りだくさん。
12月の大会まで練習できる回数も残りわずか。
一回一回を大事に、さらにギア上げていきましょう！🔥🏉

日に日に寒くなってきたシカゴ❄️
今日は少人数でしたが💪、その分一人ひとりがしっかり動いて実践を意識した練習ができました🔥
コンタクトも強めに、まっすぐ当たって相手からボールを離すのが大事なポイント🏉

It’s getting colder day by day in Chicago❄️
Fewer players today 💪 but that meant more work for everyone, with intense game-like drills🔥
Key point: hit straight and create separation from the opponent🏉

昨日は少し寒くなってきましたのでウォームアップが大事ですね！
実戦を意識しながら、攻撃ラインを作って二次攻撃まで展開する練習も行いました。
