My wife and Hot Stoker, Robyn Weinbaum tells me I have been remiss in not posting anything of late on this page. She is right. I have neglected to post the Florida Freewheelers rides that I host or the photo/video collected from them. So in the way of reparations let me tell you about the rides that we lead out of KIssimmee, FL. On M/W 630 PM, weekly until ESDST ends in October, is the Kissimmee Kings Highway loop of 27 miles on trails, bike lanes, and low traffic roads. It is a B,C ride that offers an opportunity for hammers to hammer and slower riders to hook back up by omitting parts of this out and back loop. On the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month at 8AM, it is the Bout Time Osceola Polk 52 that heads south to Davenport on trails, Old Tampa Highway and low traffic roads before turning back north into some very nice rollers on the way back to Kissimmee. This too is a B,C ride. Both rides, although relatively new on the FFW ride offerings, have received good reviews from all participants to date. Both rides begin and end at Publix, 3040 Dyer Blvd. in Kissimmee. This Sunday, the 4th Sunday, will be an exception and a make up ride, as Robyn and I were attending the Georgia Tandem Rally last weekend. Come join us.
