There are so many benefits of Gratitude and they all trace back to happiness. 😊 Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships. People feel and express gratitude in multiple ways. This month at Championship Martial Arts Lake Nona, we will be teaching our students about the importance and benefits of expressing gratitude daily.

Happy Halloween!🎃 Not only is it Halloween but today is the International Martial Arts Festival over in Daytona Beach and our Team Intensity, full of our Nona team Members, Nona Instructors, and our amazing lead instructors at our Storey & WTC locations won FIRST PLACE!!🏆

They have worked tirelessly for weeks and hours, after classes, on weekends (Saturday & Sundays). Never forget to believe in yourself!

Happy Halloween everyone! 🎃 Have fun and be safe ‘Trick or Treat’-ing by following the tips below:
🕸️ Stay in a group, walk slowly, and communicate where you are going.
🕸️ Never consume unwrapped food items or open beverages that may be offered.
🕸️ By using a flashlight, you can be seen by others.
🕸️ No treats are to be eaten until they are thoroughly checked by an adult at home.
🕸️ Remain on well-lit streets and always use the sidewalk.
🕸️ Never enter a stranger’s home or car for a treat.
🕸️ Always walk. Never run across a street.
🕸️ Only cross the street s a group in established crosswalks.
🕸️ Only walk up to homes with the lights on.
🕸️ Never cut across yards or use alleys.

As Martial Artists, our students are developing discipline, and decisions come from discipline thinking. 👊
This month we are teaching our students that their decisions may not all turn out as planned. Sometimes decisions end up being mistakes and that is okay. We want our students to focus on the importance of learning from those mistakes and work on making the right decisions moving forward.
