This weekend definitely didn’t turn out the way we hoped. Weather delays kept us from taking the field on Saturday which meant heading straight into bracket play on Sunday as the #9 seed.

But if there is one thing this weekend showed us it’s the fight this group has. 💪🏼

The girls came ready to compete and continued to show the work they’ve been putting in. They secured the first game win and in our second game, they battled from start to finish taking an early 1-0 lead, falling behind 2-1 in the bottom of the 3rd and answering right back to tie it up in the top of the 4th.

They kept fighting and pushed the game all the way to a Texas Tiebreaker where we ultimately came up just short.

Game might not have ended in our favor but we got to see competitiveness, resilience, and a team that refused to quit.

Catch us at the fields again Sept. 26-27 for another USSSA tournament before we head into showcase season.

Our hearts are heavy today as we mourn the loss of a member of our softball community. We extend our deepest condolences to the family and to Fl Storm 2010 Curry during this difficult time.

Softball is more than a game — it’s a family built on teamwork, support, and love for one another. We stand together now, offering comfort, prayers, and strength to those who are grieving.
