Dear Parents,

I wanted to take a moment to share some important news about one of our beloved coaches. As many of you know, Coach Santiago has been an incredible blessing to our program, pouring his heart into our players week after week. Unfortunately, his family will be deported back to Colombia on Saturday, October 4th, and even more difficult, they will not be allowed to return to the U.S. for the next 10 years.

Santiago first arrived here when he was just 8 years old. Now, at 26, he is having to leave the country he has called home nearly his entire life.

He admitted they may have fumbled when it came to making sure their visas and permanent residence were declared, but like many of life’s challenges, time ran out faster than expected.

This is not about politics, but about people. I ask each of you to please take a moment to personally reach out to Santiago—whether through Facebook or by phone at 407-928-8766—and send him your farewell. Let’s cover him with the same love and encouragement that he consistently showed our kids on the field.

It wasn’t just Santiago who gave to our program—his father even volunteered his time on game day to help assemble one of our soccer goals. He finished it literally without a minute to spare 😊. That’s the kind of servant-hearted spirit this family brought to our community.

Yesterday, Santiago coached his final game. His players and parents were in tears, but true to his character, he coached those kids with passion and commitment until the very last snap.

There is no doubt in my mind that he was God-sent to us and to our program.

Thank you, Coach Santiago. YOU WERE A REAL ONE!

What a blast! 🎉
All 150 of our campers from both Lake Nona and CenterPointe Church locations had an unforgettable time at Launch Trampoline Park. From bouncing to bonding, the energy was through the roof!

Here’s a special shoutout to our amazing K–1st grade group—they did a fantastic job representing our camp with great behavior and big smiles all day long!

Huge thanks to our staff and families for making our first field trip such a success. Let’s keep the summer fun going!

We have one last day of fun before the season is over! This Saturday May 20th, we are hosting Coach Lee's Fun Day! It will be a day full of scrimmages and activities and will be a great day both kids and parents to hang out and have a great time!

Before the last day, we want to congratulate all of our young athletes on a great year! We also would like to thank every coach and parent for your contributions this year. This league has grown so much this year with so many new teams and schools partnering with us. This would not be possible without the outstanding coaching and unwavering support from our parents. Thank you all so much on such a great season and we can't wait to see you all in the Fall! Congrats to the Paris (Union Park) Varsity team on winning the 2025 Spring Varsity Soccer Championship! Winning this championship also means they completed the 3-Peat by winning the Varsity Soccer Championship in the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons! They left no doubt by defeating the Barcelona (Hidden Oaks, Vista Lakes) Varsity team 8-0. Congrats on a great year!

Congrats to the Knights (Union Park) Flag Football team on winning the Spring 2025 Flag Football Championship. They got their revenge against the Seminoles (Andover, Deerwood) with a 38-14 victory. Watch out for these great young playmakers next year!

‼️FOR THE FIRST TIME‼️..a team for Riverdale Elementary has won a Coach Lee's After School Sports Championship! The Roma (Riverdale) JV team scored the game winner in the final minute of a great game to beat Barcelona (Hidden Oaks, Vista Lakes) 2-1. This is the first year and only the 2nd season this school has been in the league and they're already making themselves known. Congrats to the Roma JV team!
