ORLANDO, FL -
Week 2 is on the way and we have a special treat! The defending champions, the Spartans, will take on the red hot Jackboyz. For our second game we have the Legendz at FighterJets. We asked three questions to each captain of the team before each game to see what are their game plans.
1. How does the lineup look for you guys for Saturday? Any last minute changes?
-Tony, Captain of the Spartans
The lineup looks solid, we have a great game plan in store and are going to stay true to ourselves while allowing our individual athletes shine.
-Chris, Captain of the JackBoyz
We are actually going to have our full roster there this week. So expect fireworks out the gate.
-Gambino, Captain of the Legendz
We were missing a few pieces last week. We are going to implement them back into the offense and defense and bring that intensity back into fruition.
-Eddie, Captain of the FighterJets
We were missing our starting QB and our starting Tightend. Expect this week to be fireworks....the playbook will be open!
2. How do you feel you match up against your next opponent?
- Tony:
We feel excited about playing the jackboyz seeing them in action showed us a lot. I have personally played against Chris in many leagues they are always good games. We know they are going to come out strong we just have to be physically and mentally prepared for anything.
- Chris:
I feel we match up great against the spartans. We have a perfect combination of size and speed. So we definitely be ready for whatever they throw at us.
- Gambino:
We feel confident against anyone, but we do not underestimate them. The fighter jets are a newly collaborated team but I feel they'll make some noise. We can't bat an eye away from them.
- Eddie:
We feel like we match up well. We respect highly on the Legendz. Now that we have our QB back, this will let us know how we fare against the competition.
3. What are you looking for from your team in the first 5-10 minutes?
- Tony:
The first 5-10 minutes I'm looking for what the Spartans are known for physicality, being physical at the line and beyond. Letting people know we are here and things won't be easy. Your going to have to earn and fight for everything.
- Chris:
Our team is going to come out and set a tone. We are going to be physical up front and attack every ball in the air Defensively. On offense , we just plan to do what we do. That is to score as much as possible and take what the defense gives us.
- Gambino:
Blocking... offensively, Blocking!
- Eddie:
With return of our starting QB with a wide open field, will open up our playbook...looking forward to it!
Games begin at 5pm @ the Archie Gordon Football Field.
