A strong Filipino contingent is set to compete in the 2026 Duya Legends Golden Nine Beijing International Open and the 2nd Duya Legends Golden Nine International Tour Global Finals in Beijing, China from June 17 to 27.
Among the Filipino players featured in the official tournament poster are π΅π Johann Chua, who is coming off a Duya event win in Malaysia, π΅π Baseth Mocaibat, π΅π Jeffrey Ignacio, π΅π Kyle Amoroto, π΅π Dennis Orcollo, and π΅π Jeff De Luna.
Also joining the field is Fil-Canadian legend π¨π¦ Alex Pagulayan.
Tournament organizers also announced that all international players, including Hong Kong China, Macao China, and Chinese Taipei, will play directly from Stage 2, which runs from June 17 to June 27.
The event also comes with one of the biggest prize funds in pool, with the poster listing a total tournament prize of RMB 10,850,000, or approximately US$1.60 million.
