We want to give a huge shoutout to our #6 Harper “Harp DAWG” Smith! 1B/utility ⭐️

Harper put together one incredible season, checking just about every offensive box from the first game of the fall all the way through the final game of the summer. She hit for average, got on base at an elite level, created chaos on the bases, and came through time and time again when her team needed her the most.

This recognition could have gone to several players because we had multiple girls put together outstanding offensive seasons. But after looking at the complete body of work, Harp DAWG earned the title of our All-Around Offensive Performer. Every time she stepped into the batter’s box or became a base runner she gave us something to cheer about!

Things didn’t go our way this week in Maryland, and if we’re being honest, we are leaving with some heavy hearts.

After all the excitement leading up to this tournament, we started exactly how we hoped—going 4-0 in pool play and earning the #1 seed out of 32 teams heading into bracket play. Unfortunately, that’s not how our story ended. We leave Maryland with a 6-2 record and a lot to reflect on.

This week taught our coaches, players, and parents a lot about ourselves. If there’s one lesson we’ll take home, it’s this: stay humble and never become complacent. This game has a way of teaching life lessons, and sometimes they come the hard way. You never truly find out who you are until you get knocked down.

But this team doesn’t quit.

We’ll get back to work. We’ll figure out what went wrong, learn from it, and do whatever it takes to keep growing. We have an incredible group of players, amazing families, and a coaching staff that believes in every single girl wearing our jersey.

This isn’t the end of our story.

It’s just a bump in the road.

We’ll be back—stronger, hungrier, and more prepared than ever.

Thank you to everyone who followed along, watched our games, sent messages, and supported us from back home. Your encouragement means more than you know.
