Utah Lake is home to a mix of sport fish, panfish, invasive species, and a few native fish. Some of the most commonly caught fish include:
* Channel Catfish
* White Bass
* Walleye
* Largemouth Bass
* Bluegill
* Black Crappie
* Yellow Perch
* Black Bullhead
* Common Carp (an invasive species that dominates much of the lake)
* Northern Pike (an illegally introduced invasive species)
For anglers, the most popular target species are channel catfish, white bass (especially during the spring spawning run), walleye, and largemouth bass.
