Leslie thought losing fat meant she would have to make her life smaller.
No more spontaneous dinners out.
No cocktails with friends.
No flexibility.
No room for real life.
At 64, Leslie was already stretched thin caring for her parents and, at times, her husband. Between appointments, responsibilities, and the stress that comes with being a caregiver, she felt like there was never enough time left for herself.
She wanted to lose fat—especially through her midsection—but wasn’t sure if she was eating enough, eating the right foods, or unintentionally sabotaging her progress.
And honestly?
The idea of tracking food felt tedious.
She worried coaching would require her to push harder, restrict more, and give up the things she enjoyed.
Instead, we took a different approach.
Inside Midlife Metabolic Reboot, Leslie followed a customized nutrition and strength training plan designed to fit her life—not take it over.
As we worked together, her coach actually increased her macros, especially carbohydrates.
The foods she had been avoiding for years became part of a sustainable plan.
No extreme dieting.
No cutting out restaurants.
No “starting over every Monday.”
After 16 weeks:
• Down 6 pounds
• Inches lost from her waist, hips, and thighs
• More confidence in her nutrition choices
• A plan that worked alongside real life
One of my favorite things Leslie said was:
“I don’t feel restricted (as my coach keeps adjusting my macros higher especially carbs which I avoided like the plague)! Overall, I feel the accountability, coaching support calls and weekly coaching tips and training have been exactly what I needed.”
And then she shared something even more important:
“Finally making the decision to do the one-on-one coaching tipped me over the edge and is where I am seeing the most improvement in all areas of my life.”
Because sometimes the biggest transformation isn’t just losing weight.
It’s finally feeling supported.
It’s having a plan you trust.
It’s knowing you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
