Oregon House Disc Golf Course

Random doubles night golf is happening this Friday at Oregon House. People are welcome to camp out as well afterward. We will be playing the original 18 holes. The course has expanded to 27 holes now as well.

Oregon House DGC is growing to 27 holes. More info coming soon on the details. I should have the last couple holes roughed in sometime tomorrow morning and it will be playable. Is there anyone nearby that knows how to work on an old international dozer/backhoe. I think the clutch is out or needs a new clutch plate. Could get a lot done with that beast working, including more disc golf.

More fun shots on hole #2 from the frozen morning. After a couple early attempts that hit soft spots in the ice and didn't skip, I tried sliding the disc on the ice to skip up off the bank. First two were oh so close to getting off the ice but the third one was oh so nice.

We did some improvements to tee 1 over the last couple weeks. Added a rock wall and filled with dirt and gravel to give more of a run up to the various positions. I figured with a last name of Mason I should be able to build a descent looking rock wall. I'll be doing this to all the uphill tees on each of the courses to give a 14+ foot level tee area. I got up early today to work on the course and it was a little cold. So I couldn't resist the opportunity to try to capture something like this. The pond has never been full with this much ice making for a nice trick shot opportunity.

We finished tee 2 today, moving it back about 15 feet. Framed and leveled with sand and ready for play. This shot just got a little harder to stick the green. Open for play every day.

We releveled 6 of the tee pads so far with sand under the turf. Also extended the back of tee 15 to give a run in to the tee. Open everyday and the ponds are close to full, great time to come play.

I purchased the 17 baskets from the lava creek course and brought a mach 3 from Lone Star DGC for a full set. The good baskets I had I moved over to Lone Star near Auburn to help get in holes 28-36+. Lava Creek is no more unfortunately but come on up and create some new memories up on the hill.
