Fee: $98 / $101 NR

Learn to play water polo. Build necessary skills through ball handling, passing, and shooting. Each practice increases the players' strength, techniques, and strategies. Students must know how to swim.

Hello Tigersharks parents!

We are excited for the season to begin and wanted to update you with a few things.



1) ALL parent meeting- 4/15 at 6:30pm @ the OV Parks and Rec Office

This will cover our new system for meet attendance and expectations for the season.

2) Practice times: May/early June practices will be strictly adhered to. Your swimmer must swim with their age group.

3) We need help!

Social media needed.

Secretary needed.

Volunteer Coordinator in training needed.

3) Wildly inaccurate info about our team!

It has come to my attention that people are claiming the OV Tigersharks are “very intense” and “too competitive.” NEW FAMILIES: This is the exact opposite of what we are.

We are a team that welcomes swimmers of all abilities. Kids practice with their same-aged peers- always. We NEVER pit teammates against one another and at meets we cheer for all our teammates to do THEIR PERSONAL BEST. We only celebrate beating your personal record because unless your child is an Olympic gold medalist, there is always someone faster. We NEVER punish swimmers for an inability to attend practice. (Kids can’t drive so why would we punish them for a parent’s inability to get them there?) We ask that each swimmer attend at least THREE MEETS and CHAMPS. Our families take vacations, do theater, play other sports, and we encourage it all. We support one another by volunteering at every meet and being positive for all swimmers.

I will address all this further in our parent meeting but since we are still in a penalty free drop period- I wanted new families to know ASAP.
