We have a play-in game this Tuesday to try to get into the playoffs. We travel to Manning-Santee for a 7pm start game. Lose and we are out, win and we travel to West Columbia on Thursday to begin a best 2 out of 3 series (Thursday-Saturday).

I hope everyone has had a safe and Happy 4th of July week! We are back in action this week and this is our schedule:

Tuesday: at West Columbia (BC High school)
Wednesday: home vs West Columbia
Thursday: at Richland (AC Flora High School)

This is the last week of the regular season so come out and support our local players!

We host Lexington today at Mirmow with a 7pm start time. We will have some youth teams hanging out with our Post 4 players. Come out, grab a hotdog, and enjoy a baseball game while supporting our local players!

The post below says it all! We lost 8-3 to Lexington tonight but singing the National Anthem pregame was priceless!

We lost a tough one tonight 9-5 vs Richland Post 215. Too many errors that we have to improve on and still stranding runners! Only walked one batter tonight pitching but Post 215 mustered 11 hits so you have to tip your cap to them for that. We play them again tomorrow at 7pm at Mirmow field to try and go 2-1 for the week.

Our Post 4 team got its first victory of the year defeating West Columbia 2-0! Great pitching by Hunter Judy whose command and control kept the batters guessing what pitch they would see! Timely hits by Eli Pantaleon and Judy each driving in a run each was the difference in the game. We also had hits by Tanner Brewer, Ty Brown, Weston Stokes, and Tadd Jameson. At this time we will host Richland Post 215 on Wednesday and Thursday where we will attempt to keep the momentum going!

Tough week last week - lost 6-3 to Richland and 13-3 to Lexington. Our game Monday this week was rained out and will be played on Wednesday. Our schedule this week:
6/13/24: Lexington at Mirmow 7pm
6/14/24: West Columbia at Mirmow 7pm.

At Mirmow field for opening day of Post 4 baseball! Only looks like it’s drizzled here slightly and radar currently shows everything going around us. Hoping to get our game in!!

Orangeburg Post 4 opens the 2024 schedule with a home game against Richland Post 215 today at Mirmow Field with a 7pm start time. Come out and support the local talent and Legion program!

No tryouts today for Post 4 due to high possibility of rain. We will resume Wednesday at 6:30pm

The 2024 Orangeburg Post 4 tryouts will begin on Monday, May 13 at Mirmow Field from 6:30-8:00pm. All players wishing to try out for the team must register at https://www.hometeamsonline.com/teams/registration.asp?u=SOUTHCAROLI-BASEB.
All players will need to show up in baseball attire with glove, cleats, and whatever specialized equipment they may have such as catcher’s gear. We are looking forward to seeing everyone next Monday!
