Thank You Orange!
After 25 years running the pool and another nine teaching and guarding is it time to let the next generation take over! It has been a pleasure and a privilege working in this Town and with all these amazing people for so many years.
Keeping the pool running can be a challenge at times and I have to thank First Selectman Jim Zeoli for always recognizing the value of this community pool and finding the funds to make improvements and cover the unexpected repairs. I am sure that has been a challenge for him as well but I have always appreciated the "just ask" approach.
Thanks to the crew in the offices at HPCC. I'll miss the jokes, banter and the cooperation from everyone wanting to make things as best as possible.
To my pool staff - you are the best! Thinking about some of you rolling into your 40's boggles my mind. And hiring one of your kids was definitely a system shock but all the past and current staffs have made this job so rewarding, fun and so much easier,

All the amazing patrons and members over the years have made the days go so fast! Some of the best people live in Orange and they all swim! Thank you for sharing you lives with me and being a part of mine for all these years. I'll definitely miss our chats.
And to Megan Lasto - I am so happy you are taking over here. I have watched you grow up swimming and working here and there is no one better to step in and continue. I know you have great plans of your own and will make the pool the best it can be. Congratulations and the very best to you all!
