Day 2 of the Bateman Barebow Classic in Texas.

While shooting with legends you get to witness some legendary things. Today shot an astounding 292 on the vegas face (with barebow). Nice shooting Rick. Stay tuned for final results tomorrow.

Friday afternoon at 3pm one of my kids said "we should have gone to Gene Foster, let's jump in the camper and go!". So that's what we did. We didn't roll in until almost midnight, but it turned out to be a fun weekend. As always put on a great event.

Zach spent Saturday trying to get back to first place on the speed round, but it's hard to beat on a speed round. Congratulations to nick for a 16 second time..... amazing.

Zach also said he was going to get both apples and the steel target which he did. Very impressive shooting kid, proud of you.

Good time today with the state unmarked 3D. Managed to pull off the championship buckle for the barebow class despite some bad yardage estimations. Thanks to the club but more importantly all the guys in the target. It was a fun day.

This past weekend had a nice podium sweep in the adult male non sight division at the .saa.big.game.club annual broadhead state championship. This year it was hosted by and the weather was perfect for a 2 day shoot.

Special shout out to Buddy Duncan for his consistent shooting and nice belt buckle.
