We are less than a week away from one of the great events in our awesome community, the 4th of July. Fortunately SHB has the opportunity to participate in the most lucrative fundraiser available to youth sports organizations in Huntington Beach, running a firework stand. SHB's firework stand is located in the Newland Center, at Beach and Adams (or Beach and Utica).

Please come out and support South Huntington Beach Girls Softball by buying all of your 4th of July fireworks at our stand. We have put forth a ton of time and effort to make this the best firework stand in Huntington Beach and the funds will go directly to the benefit of the girls via equipment, reduced fees, field improvements, etc.

Stop by a socialize with other SHB families, support the 12u Gold and Silver All Star teams that are fundraising with food and drinks (bake sale) for their run to States in Lancaster over the next couple weeks, and there are still a few shifts available on July 4th.

I hope everybody has an amazing and safe 4th of July, and I hope I get to see every family at the stand July 1 - July 4.

Hi everyone ! Although I know we all wish had the opportunity to spend 4th of July weekend in Lancaster at States, the great thing is that two of our sister teams are going to state finals to rep SHB !!!! Great job to 12u Gold and 12u Silver as they are both 2015 ASA Central District Champions ! Congrats!
Both teams will need some support and sponsor donations... I am sure any amount would be welcome as it will be a long and expensive weekend. Go SHB !!!!!!!!

A heartbreaker loss ... The Dirt Devils battled hard to a 6-6 tie as time expired ... One last at bat for Chino Hills.... 2 outs, runner on 3 ... Ouch, 6-7 in the end.

8 hours in 90 + temps, countless hits, so many strikeouts and incredible plays, stolen bases left and right .... These girls left it all on the dirt !!! Great job Carter, Daphne, Bella, Janelle, Rachael, Mak, Mal, Delaney, Ivy, Emme, Devon, and Christy... Warriors to the end !!!!

Oh ya !!!! Christy Ouye bunt double, scores Bella Malecki from 2nd with Delaney Mitchell advancing to 3rd.... Was great plays like this that lifted the DD's to a 9-3 victory.... Semi-finals on tap at 3:50 !
