🥋 ATTENTION HERO MARTIAL ARTS STUDENTS & FAMILIES! 🥋
The countdown is officially ON! We are just weeks away from the Hero City Tournament on Saturday, June 20th, and you do not want to miss out! 🔥
This is the very first tournament in our 4-part series. It’s your chance to start earning crucial points toward School Champion and District Champion titles! 🏆 Over 200 competitors will be stepping onto the mats to showcase their skills—will you be one of them?
⏰ DEADLINE REMINDER: Registration closes next Friday, June 12th!
Here is what you need to know:
📍 Where: Adam W. Herbert University Center (12000 Alumni Dr, Jacksonville, FL)
🥋 Categories: Traditional Forms, Xtreme Forms, Freestyle Weapons, Stick Sparring, & Point Sparring.
👕 Gear: Don't forget, students must wear a Competition Gi on the day of the event to be eligible for point tracking!
📅 Event Schedule:
8:30 AM: Demo Team Competition, Instructor Demo, & Black Belt Ceremony
11:00 AM: Round 1 of Competition
1:00 PM: Round 2 of Competition
3:00 PM: Round 3 of Competition

Last week was a big week!

🥋 Last Saturday, two of our awesome assistant instructors leveled up by testing for their next instructor collar! Mr. Bailey is one of our longest-training students, starting as a white belt all the way back in 2019. Mr. Staley is the very first adult student that Mr. Ordaz ever enrolled! Needless to say, we’re extremely proud of these two gentlemen for the bravery and skills they present on a day-to-day basis.

✨ We also launched our Little Heroes program last week, and awarded our first Little Hero White Belts! We’re learning a lot in these classes and having a blast training with this new crew. If you have a 3-5 year old, or know anyone who does, we have the perfect program for them!

💗 We’ve had some amazing moms join us on the mat to training alongside their families so far this month! Families who kick together, stick together, so we’re welcoming all moms to train with us for 30 days completely free! Thank you to all the ladies who have joined us so far—we’re pumped to be able to work with you!!

We have a ton of exciting events coming up this month and next month. From Parents’ Night Out, to our upcoming tournament circuit, to Black Belt Testing, there’s something for every student to get involved in.
