Orange Park Throwdown The Throwdown is going down at CrossFit Dominus in Orange Park, FL! Funds will be raised and donated to Duval, St. Johns and Clay Counties. Local event.

Fitness competition in Jacksonville involving 150 athletes separated into three divisions: Teams, Rx Men and Women, and Scaled Men and Women. We are partnering with the Duval School District with part of the proceeds being donated to Duval County Schools and after school Programs. The athletes will compete through 4 different workouts to test them in 10 key elements of fitness: cardiovascular, sta

mina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. The top 3 competitors in Teams and Rx divisions will receive a cash prize. The event will run from 9 am until 5 pm, with the closing ceremony ending promptly at 5.30 pm. After the event, all athletes and spectators are invited for an after party to celebrate elite fitness and each otherโ€™s successes.

OPT UPDATE:

It's with a heavy heart I write this post but due to multiple reasons, including family emergencies and technical hurtles, the Orange Park Throwdown is officially canceled. Well, more so postponed than anything.

For all the teams and individuals that have signed up and paid already- if you haven't received an email it will come shortly and you will be fully refunded.

Glass half full: you now have a totally free Saturday coming up..spend it with friends and family..and FL sunshine!

1 Clean + 2 Front Squats + 1 Jerk

4:01 - 10:00 (6 minute Time Cap) Begin 4B

21-15-9
Kettlebell Swings 2 pood males / 1.5 pood females
Pistols
-Athletes will also perform a set of double unders
between each KBS & Pistol set

Dubz Set 1 - 99 reps
Dubs Set 2 - 51 reps
150 reps total

*Can you go unbroken on these sets of double unders? If so it is highly (HIGHLY) recommended you do so..lets test some skills!
Total Workout Time = 10 minutes

**If you are time capped out of this workout any unfinished reps will be converted into seconds and added to your total time.

**It is suggested that competitors have between 6 & 18+ months of experience with these movements and the intensity that's involved with competition. Proficiency in the 9 foundational movements and the points of performance associated with each is recommended.

With that said our primary goals are safety, challenge and fun. We want to challenge our individuals and teams, helping to expose possible "holes" in their fitness. We want to push them within their limits, striving to help everyone set some sort of personal best. This event is more than a competition- it's a celebration of health and community and our expression of fitness.
