Here’s the deal. Your mindset isn’t going to flip a switch overnight. You aren’t going to wake up on Monday, ready to tackle what you’ve been avoiding. It’d be nice if it worked that way. ⁠

But it doesn’t. 💯⁠

The truth is that building a strong mindset takes WORK. It takes patience. It takes consistency. ⁠

It doesn’t happen overnight, but rather it happens along the way. Every positive decision you make - every day you show up - every healthy meal you eat - every workout you complete - all of it changes who you are because it changes your brain. 💯⁠

Any time you choose to eat a healthy meal, take a walk, or do a workout is a good time; however, the BEST time is WHEN YOU DON’T WANT TO. When you overcome something you don’t want to do, your brain receives a massive benefit. 👏⁠

“I wish someone would just tell me what to eat!” ~ says everyone I meet 😉

People think eating healthy is so complicated, but in reality, it’s the simplest way you can eat! 💯 When you choose whole food nutrition, you don’t have to worry much about the amount you’re consuming. I mean, how many people do you know who overeat vegetables? Not many, huh? 😉

Food gets complicated when it’s processed and the ingredients list starts growing. When you choose food in its most natural state, the food IS the ingredient; therefore, not only are you minimizing the number of chemicals and toxins you put in your body, but you’re also flooding your body with what it needs to thrive! 🙌

You’ve been thinking about food wrong your entire life…

I’d be willing to bet that when it comes to food, you’ve categorized it under the umbrella of “weight loss/weight gain” your entire life. Am I right or am I right? Keep reading…⬇️

Friend, it isn’t your fault. You don’t know what you don’t know. This was ingrained in most of us from childhood and when a belief or thought has been with us since childhood, it isn’t easy to change.

But you must. Because it’s an incorrect way to view or categorize food.

Sure, the quality and quantity of food can cause weight gain and weight loss, but it is so much deeper.

Food is information. It’s data. It’s energy for your body.

And, it’s fascinating.

If you had asked me (enter # of years) years ago if I would love learning and teaching about the power of food, I would’ve said you were crazy.

After all, all I was worried about was how food affected my weight. Sound familiar? 💯

But when I joined a program that actually explained the WHY behind it all, everything changed. I longed to know more!

“When I first heard about the FASTer Way I was skeptical; listing reasons such as: I'm not that social so the community support isn't for me, my back pain, hectic schedule, those results are photoshopped, and the list went on and on. Six weeks later, my sister showed me her results and made a believer out of me!

"I joined in February of this year and like most things, started out with eagerness, but as life set in as it usually does, I had a few setbacks. At times I missed the mark with eating, was worried I wasn't performing well, or due to my back and hernia can't lift past a certain weight, so I thought I would never see the results. Boy, how incorrect I was!

"Of course, I listened to my body and did what I could, and am very pleased and thankful for the results, community, and coach that kept me focused.

"Getting accustomed to not giving up if you can't do it perfectly and embracing progress over perfection worked for me, and I'm sure will work for you.

Can what you eat affect anxiety? Read my client’s story...

“When I was 25, I started a journey towards gaining weight and strength. This continued until I was about 35. During this time I went from 195lbs to 230lbs. Although I was happy with my appearance, my joints and mobility suffered. From there on I struggled to keep my weight around 215 or 220.

“The ketogenic diet worked well but was difficult long term, as it was a 24/7 pretty detailed way of eating that was difficult to sustain especially in social settings. For the last 2 or 3 years it's been a free for all. Although I'm active, I determined many foods did not make me feel well, but I just pushed through. When my wife started faster way I was skeptical bit tried to support it, as she seemed to enjoy the structure of the program.

“About two months ago (May 2021) I decided to try it out. Within the first week I started reaping the benefits and although I tried to ignore the scale, I couldn't help but notice I was losing weight and my joints felt much better.

“Two months later I feel great and have started cycling again, doing about 30 minutes a few times a week with no issues. My head is clear and managing anxiety is much easier, as well. Food has always had a dramatic impact on my mental well-being, and this lifestyle is definitely giving me positive results in this area. I look forward to continuing on and improving mobility and endurance.” ~ Justin

What are you having for breakfast today?⁠

For me, it’s going to be an oatmeal kind of morning! After years of being afraid to eat oatmeal, I have learned that my body NEEDS carbs to run at it’s best and to burn fat. ⁠
🥣⁠
But I also add several things to my bowl to make it more balanced and filling. I’m fueling up for leg day, and I’m going to have a strong one!⁠
