I don’t have a dramatic weight loss story to share with you. I also don’t have any tricks or shortcuts to help weight loss. Nor do I have any silly food restrictions, waist trimmers, creams that target stubborn fat, no low sodium foods, or unbalanced dieting. ⁣

I can tell you what I do have for you... a more concrete approach to nutrition and training. I have Hard work, Patience, Consistency, and more Hard work. ⁣

Don’t fall in those diet traps or fads. Put in the 🇭​🇦​🇷​🇩​ 🇼​🇴​🇷​🇰​, be 🇵​🇦​🇹​🇮​🇪​🇳​🇹​because the slow and steady approach is more beneficial and long-term, be 🇨​🇴​🇳​🇸​🇮​🇸​🇹​🇪​🇳​🇹​to maintain changes over a long time, and put in more HARD WORK. ⁣

Guess who feels great 🙋🏻‍♀️ Guess is who isn’t bothered by body image 🙋🏻‍♀️⁣

9 shows later; two of them being back to back, I can literally sit here and tell everyone I have been through it all. I didn’t believe it till I actually went through the experience. But body image was such a negative thing I experienced until this past year. I would constantly compete because I wanted to maintain the body I had on show days. I would be torn from wanting six pack abs but in reality it is unrealistic to maintain. When coaches tell you, in order to grow, you may be at a higher body fat, well they were right. ⁣

My first show I walked on stage at 112 lbs, 9th show I stepped on stage at 117 lbs after a year break. I grew a lot on my off season and placed 2nd in my class and even qualified for Nationals. ⁣

I can’t stress it enough that it takes time. And I get asked almost on a daily basis when I go out in public won how do I look the way I look. Answer is clear to me, time and dedication. ⁣

You can ask after training with him for 2.5 years, I never took a day off. I never took a day to recover because I was hungry to win (Clearly nothing wrong with that) BUT... This go around, winning composed of letting my body rest when it needed it, being in a surplus to allow myself to grow. ⁣

I am proud of my progress and how far I have come to overcome those challenges that we may experience when competing. I am going to travel a bit & and enjoy life then step back on stage late this year with a Fitness Olympian Coach 👯‍♀️⁣

I am always happy to share my more personal experience privately but the moral of the story is listen to your body. Allow yourself time to grow and bring a better package to the stage. Take a good off season and don’t jump into something just for looks. Come in looking and feeling your best every time you walk on stage.

When you text me and tell me that your heart is in a better place, it makes me happy as a coach! We write novels in our text but needless to say you have listened and trusted me as a couch and I couldn’t be more thankful.
It makes me happy that I could be there along your journey and help you reach short and long term goals. At the end of the day, I don’t want you to just thank me but be proud you got this far and YOU fought this fight, I just cheered you on 🥊🏆
