Hey friends! Miss Ava here!

I have been dancing for over 18 years, competing in dance for 11, and teaching and choreographing for 9. I grew up dancing in my living room before joining studio dance at age 2.5, led a youth liturgical dance group at my church, taught tumbling and dance in various gyms and studios, helped to start a dance team at my high school, and now am a senior captain on the NWC dance team.

This is my fourth year teaching and choreographing with Elite, and I couldn't love a group of kids more. I have a passion for encouraging young dancers to express themselves through movement while helping them improve their technique and advance their skills. I am so grateful to be part of such a supportive atmosphere dedicated to helping aspiring dancers to grow not only in their skills as artists and athletes but to grow as humans in the world.

In non-dance-related news, I love spending any free time I can find going on adventures with friends, doing arts and crafts, listening to music, being outdoors, and traveling the world. I am currently in my last year of nursing school at NWC and hope to work at the Stead Family Children's Hospital in Iowa City after graduating.

✨Meet Taylor ✨

Taylor is the owner of Elite Dance & Tumbling, which she founded in 2015, where she has spent years helping athletes grow in confidence, discipline, and skill. She also is a wife, and proud mother of six.

She serves as the Head Cheer and Dance Coach at Northwestern College, leading her teams with a passion for excellence and developing student-athletes both on and off the mat.

In 2025, Taylor expanded her entrepreneurial journey by opening Elite Nutrition, where she is committed to helping her community fuel healthier lifestyles through nutritious drinks and positive encouragement.

Whether she’s coaching, running her businesses, or spending time with her family, Taylor is passionate about building strong relationships, serving others, and creating places where people feel encouraged to become the best version of themselves.
