Yesterday didn’t end the way we had hoped. We lost to Arizona Premier Prospects out of Glendale, AZ. The score was 6-5 and we were called out on a close play at the plate to end the game. As always the West Volusia Renegades 14u fought until the very last pitch. We were awarded three Tournament Allstar selections. Congratulations to Mateo Torres, Landon Palmateer, and Cris Lobos for being selected. They will get an opportunity to play with the other Allstars in a future event. Landon Palmateer was awarded the fastest pitcher in the 14u division. Landon was clocked at 79mph. Cris finished second among all catchers at the event with a hand timed 1.85 second pop time. Hard work is paying off for these young men. This will likely wrap up our 14u year. We will look to move on to 15u at the end of summer. Keep working fellas!
