Happy Labor Day from the Mobile Big Game Fishing Club! 🇺🇸

Today we celebrate the hardworking men and women who have helped build our country and the communities we’re proud to call home.

Labor Day weekend is also one of our favorite MBGFC traditions, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend it. Thank you to every captain, angler, crew, sponsor, volunteer, family member, and supporter who came out for the 2026 Labor Day Invitational. From the flare start to the final weigh-in, it was an incredible weekend of fishing, competition, and fellowship.

We’re grateful for everyone who continues to support MBGFC and the traditions that make this Club so special.

The 2026 MBGFC Labor Day Invitational is officially in the books.

38 teams and 222 anglers took to the Gulf for three days of competition, combining for 186 catches and another great Labor Day weekend of fishing.

Fatso took 1st Place Blue Marlin with a 523 lb. fish, while Ayeland Girl claimed 1st Place Catch & Release with 4,900 points.

Rounding out the top catches, Yola brought home the Heaviest Tuna at 186.2 lbs., Hydra Sea took the Heaviest Wahoo at 47.4 lbs., and Code Vessel earned the Heaviest Dolphin with a 15.3 lb. fish.

Congratulations to all of this year’s winners and everyone who competed. A huge thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, crews, families and everyone behind the scenes who continues to make the Labor Day Invitational possible year after year.

We appreciate everyone who came out and made the 2026 tournament one to remember.
