Honoring Three of the Gulf Coast Region’s Longest-Serving Board Members
Shawn Weaver (7 terms), Nicole Keshock (8 terms), and Billy “The GOAT” Eubank (9 terms) Recognized for Years of Leadership, Dedication, and Service to Gulf Coast Volleyball. Those are 3 year terms.
Behind every successful volleyball season, championship, growing club, developing official, and young athlete is a group of people willing to give their time and talents to help the sport move forward.
For the Gulf Coast Region, three individuals stand out for their years of dedication and commitment to that mission: Shawn Weaver, Nicole Keshock, and Billy “The GOAT” Eubank.
As three of the longest-serving members of the Gulf Coast Region Board of Directors, their contributions extend far beyond attending meetings and casting votes. They have invested countless hours behind the scenes helping guide the Region, supporting its membership, solving problems, creating opportunities, and ensuring volleyball continues to grow throughout the Gulf Coast.
Shawn Weaver
For years, Shawn Weaver has been a dedicated advocate for volleyball and the athletes, coaches, clubs, officials, and families who make up the Gulf Coast Region.
His service on the Board of Directors has been marked by a desire to see the Region continue to grow while creating more opportunities for athletes at every level. From grassroots volleyball to competitive club programs and major regional events, Weaver's commitment has always centered around strengthening the volleyball community and helping provide the next generation with opportunities to play the game.
His years of service represent much more than a position on a board. They represent a long-term investment in the future of Gulf Coast volleyball.
Nicole Keshock
Nicole Keshock has also provided years of invaluable leadership and service to the Gulf Coast Region.
Her dedication, knowledge, and willingness to serve have helped provide stability and direction as the volleyball landscape has continued to evolve. Longtime board members carry with them something that cannot easily be replaced — institutional knowledge, experience, and an understanding of where an organization has been and where it hopes to go.
Nicole's continued commitment has made her an important part of the Region's history and success. Her willingness to devote her time and energy year after year deserves both recognition and sincere appreciation.
Billy “The GOAT” Eubank
And then there is Billy “The GOAT” Eubank — a name that has become synonymous with Gulf Coast volleyball.
The nickname says plenty, but Billy's years of service say even more.
His longevity, experience, personality, and dedication have left a lasting mark on the Region and the people within it. Through years of changes, challenges, tournaments, meetings, decisions, and countless volleyball seasons, Billy has continued to show up and serve.
People like Billy remind us that organizations are not built simply through policies and programs. They are built by people who care enough to keep giving their time, year after year.
A Legacy of Service
Board service is often a thankless job.
Much of the work happens when no one is watching. There are meetings after long workdays, phone calls that need to be answered, difficult decisions that must be made, problems that need solutions, and countless hours devoted to making sure others have the opportunity to succeed.
Shawn Weaver, Nicole Keshock, and Billy “The GOAT” Eubank have given those hours — not for recognition, but because they care about the Gulf Coast Region and the sport of volleyball.
Their combined years of leadership have helped shape the Region into what it is today.
Thousands of athletes, parents, coaches, officials, club directors, and volleyball supporters have benefited from the work of dedicated volunteers like these three, whether they ever realized who was working behind the scenes or not.
That is what makes long-term service so special.
It creates a legacy.

Most importantly, thank you for continuing to show up and serve.
The impact of Shawn Weaver, Nicole Keshock, and Billy “The GOAT” Eubank cannot simply be measured in years on a Board of Directors. It can be measured in the people they have helped, the opportunities they have helped create, and the volleyball community they have helped build.
Your service has mattered. Your dedication has made a difference. And your contributions to Gulf Coast volleyball will be appreciated for years to come.
