An incredible opening day of the 2025 Red Snapper Season Friday! Couldn’t ask for a better day of fishing! These guys did incredible!

Huge congratulations and job well done to Henry on catching a 10.4 pound Triggerfish!!! Biggest I’ve ever seen! Just 1 pound and 2 ounces shy of the Alabama State Record!

Way to go guys and thanks for coming out with us!!

The Red Snapper are biting good with it being the beginning days of the season. Hit us up to get on the hot bite before they start getting smart!

Today, we're delivering 120,000 oysters to volunteer piers in Fort Morgan and Bon Secour, where they will be raised until they're big enough to be deployed in the bay. Follow along with the Oyster Keeper's team for a behind-the-scenes look at deployment day. We will be live posting from our stories all day long.

Received the report back from University of South Alabama Tagging Program. Turns out this Redfish was a homebody. This fish was at liberty for 137 days and grew exactly 1 inch!

Really incredible what the Fisheries Ecology Lab does at USA. Big hats off to these guys and all they do to sustain and keep our fisheries healthy.
