We should get a group of Spearfisher’s to join this ! Who’s up for some research?

Are you a passionate diver looking for a unique volunteer research opportunity? Join the DAN Research Team and participate in a 6-week bubble study!

As a diver, you may or may not experience small bubbles in your blood after decompression, but the reasons for the variation in bubbles and decompression stress are still unknown. That's where you come in! We need your help to collect data and identify the factors that contribute to increased decompression stress.

Dive the same profile six times within a 10-week period at Mystery Lake Scuba Park in North Carolina, and our DAN researchers will use ultrasound imaging to measure bubbles and determine the variation within and between divers.

Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to contribute to the diving community's knowledge and understanding.

Join one of the info sessions next week on Wednesday, May 17th, at 12:00pm or 6:00pm.
