We didn’t really know what to expect last night running in A Mod at Lincoln.
Track was super heavy in qualifying. Qualified 6th in the 2nd group. Lucas definitely held his own in the heat got up to 4th and then got sucked up into the Cush, ended up 5th after a car spun in front of him.
Started 10th in the feature and ended up pulling off due to a miss with the carburetor. All in all was a good night of learning!

We’ve all grown up at Peoria Speedway and have had a lot of great memories there. No one wants to see it die. I truly hope someone will buy it and keep the track alive.

Lucas Boulton, a 17-year-old third generation dirt-track racer, won the B-mod division at the Peoria Speedway on Saturday, but was saddened to learn that it was the last race ever at the track.
