“Your YES Has Responsibilities.”

✨Sis, everybody wants the promise…But are you willing to carry the responsibility that comes with it?🤔

✨Because your ➡️YES⬅️ to God isn’t just permission to receive.

⚠️Sometimes your YES requires you to:
❕grow.
❕learn.
❕change.
❕release.
❕prepare.
❕obey.
❕stay.
❕serve.
❕steward.

✨And sometimes God is preparing you for what you’ve been praying for.

⚠️You can’t ask God to bring forth what you refuse to nurture..

✨God isn’t asking you to manufacture the harvest. He’s asking you to be faithful with the seed.🌱

Ask God: 👉🏾Lord, what does my YES require from me in this season?

✨And then…listen.
Because the answer may stretch you.

✨ weBut stretching isn’t always punishment….Sometimes it’s preparation.

🦋🌱SEPTEMBER IS HERE & SOMETHING HAS BEEN FORMING🌱🦋

✨Sis, welcome to September—The 9th month.

✨And as we step into this new month, I believe we’re being invited to pay attention to something:
What has God been forming in you?🌱

✨Because sometimes we’re so focused on what hasn’t happened yet that we fail to recognize what God has already been doing inside of us.

📌He’s been developing your faith.
📌Strengthening your character.
📌Healing places you didn’t even realize needed healing.
📌Changing your perspective.
📌Teaching you obedience.
📌Preparing you for something you may not be able to see yet.

✨And sis…Preparation isn’t punishment.

✨Just because you haven’t seen the manifestation doesn’t mean nothing is happening.

✨Just because it hasn’t come forth doesn’t mean it isn’t being formed.

👉🏾You are not behind.
👉🏾You are not forgotten.
👉🏾You don’t have to force what God is still developing.

✨This month, I want us to shift the question.

✨Instead of only asking:
“God, what are You going to do for me?”

✨Let’s begin asking:
“God, what are You asking ME to bring forth?”

❕What gift?
❕What idea?
❕What assignment?
❕What new level of obedience?
❕What healed version of you?
❕What purpose?

✨What has God been cultivating in you that now requires you to nurture it, steward it, and eventually bring it forth?

✨And here’s the part I need you to remember:
You don’t have to see the whole picture to trust the One who does.

❕Don’t abort the process because it’s taking longer than you expected.
❕Don’t compare your beginning to somebody else’s harvest.
❕Don’t hide what God is developing in you because you don’t feel ready.
❕And don’t confuse being in process with being behind.

⚠️This month, we’re going to slow down enough to recognize what God is doing…
⚠️Surrender what needs to be surrendered…
⚠️Nurture what He’s entrusted to us…
⚠️And walk boldly when He says:
“It’s time.”

📖 Our Scripture for September:

“Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD.”
~Isaiah 66:9~

✨So sis…Welcome to September. 🦋

✨Welcome to a month of recognizing, nurturing, surrendering, bringing forth, and stewarding.

✨We’re not just waiting for something to happen…We’re becoming the woman who can faithfully carry what God entrusts to her.

✨And maybe…what God has been forming IN you is preparing to come THROUGH you🌱🦋

❕It’s time to bring forth.

🦋SEPTEMBER ASSIGNMENT:
👉🏾Discern what God has been forming in you, surrender what is required, and faithfully bring forth what He has called you to carry.

⚠️God Doesn’t Call the Qualified….He Qualifies the Called⚠️

✨Sis, I need to remind somebody of something God taught me years ago when I was constantly questioning whether I was qualified to do what I felt called to do.

❗️I would look at certain rooms and think:
“I don’t belong there.”
❗️I’d look at certain opportunities and think:
“Who am I to do that?”
❗️I’d look at other people and think:
“They know more than me. They’re further along than me. They’re more qualified than me.”

⚠️And then God gave me this:
“God doesn’t call the qualified. He qualifies the called.”

✨WHEW. 😭🙌🏾
That changed something in me.
Because I realized I had been making qualification the prerequisite for obedience.

❗️I thought I needed to feel ready before I could say yes.
❗️I thought I needed to know everything before I could step into the room.
❗️I thought I needed everybody’s approval before I could believe God was actually calling me.

✨But sis…
God never asked me to be enough without Him…He asked me to trust Him enough to say yes.

✨And let me tell you something:
The calling doesn’t mean you already have everything you need.

✨Sometimes the calling is what reveals what God is going to develop in you.

👉🏾The room may expose what you don’t know.
👉🏾The assignment may stretch your confidence.
👉🏾The opportunity may make you realize you need to grow.
👉🏾The next level may require you to learn things you’ve never learned before.

✨That’s okay.
Because being called doesn’t mean you’re finished…It means you’re willing.

✨And sometimes we’re so busy asking:
👉🏾”Am I qualified?”
that we’re missing the better question:
👉🏾”Am I willing?”

☑️Willing to learn.
☑️Willing to grow.
☑️Willing to be stretched.
☑️Willing to be corrected.
☑️Willing to obey.
☑️Willing to start before you feel ready.
☑️Willing to trust God while He develops what He placed inside of you.

❗️Sis,
Stop disqualifying yourself from rooms God may be preparing you to enter.
❗️Stop looking at your past and deciding it automatically disqualifies your future.
❗️Stop comparing your beginning to somebody else’s middle.
❗️Stop assuming that because you don’t have all the answers, you don’t belong in the assignment.

✨You may not be qualified yet—but you can be called.

✨And if God called you…
He knows exactly what He needs to develop in you along the way.

✨That’s why you don’t need the whole blueprint before you take the first step.

✨You need enough faith to say:
“Yes, Lord. Teach me.”

✨Because sometimes the qualification comes while you’re walking.

☑️The confidence comes while you’re obeying.
☑️The wisdom comes while you’re learning.
☑️The courage comes while you’re moving.

✨And the woman you become on the journey?
She may be the very woman you couldn’t imagine becoming when God first called you.

✨So today, I want you to ask yourself:
📝 Where have I been disqualifying myself because I don’t feel qualified?

✨And then ask:
🙏🏾 “God, if You are calling me here, what are You asking me to trust You with?”

❗️Don’t worry about having everything figured out.
❗️Don’t wait until you feel fearless.
❗️Don’t wait until everybody agrees.
❗️Don’t wait until you feel qualified enough.

✨If God is calling you, say YES.
Then let Him teach you how to walk in it.

✨Because sis…
You don’t have to become qualified before you answer the call.

✨Sometimes your YES is the classroom where God begins to qualify you. 🙌🏾

✨And that’s your Thirsty for Purpose Thursday reminder:
⚠️GOD DOESN’T CALL THE QUALIFIED
HE QUALIFIES THE CALLED⚠️

Now…
🌱GO.
🌱LEARN.
🌱GROW.
🌱OBEY.
🌱WALK.

✨And stop talking yourself out of rooms God may have already prepared you to enter. 👑🦋

✨You don’t need to know everything.
You need to trust the One who does.
