🏊❤️🖤 What a weekend at the ARPA State Championships!

From new PRs to unforgettable moments, our swimmers represented Opelika with heart, determination, and sportsmanship every time they stepped on the blocks.

One of the best parts? Seeing swimmers, families, coaches, officials, and volunteers from across Alabama come together to celebrate this sport we all love. That’s what makes the ARPA State Championships so special.

We’re proud of every swimmer who competed this weekend, no matter what team they represented. Thank you for making this championship one to remember. And to our OST swimmers…we couldn’t be more proud to call you part of our Swim Family. ❤️🖤

What a weekend at the Southeastern Swim Championships! ❤️🖤🏊

From new PRs, Futures cuts, nonstop laughs, cheering each other on, and making memories we’ll never forget, this weekend was about so much more than swimming.

One thing that makes OST special is our swim family. No matter what life brings, we show up for each other, in and out of the pool. That’s something worth celebrating. ❤️🖤

We’re so proud of every swimmer and grateful for every moment. Here’s to the memories we made and the ones still to come!

Big moment for our Opelika Parks & Recreation family!

We’re excited to celebrate Head Swim Coach Tyler McGill on being honored with a place on downtown Auburn’s Tiger Trail, recognizing some of the most outstanding student-athletes in Auburn University history.

During his time on the Plains, Tyler earned 16 All-American honors, helped lead Auburn to national championships, and claimed two individual NCAA titles. He also represented Team USA at the 2012 Summer Olympics, contributing to a gold medal-winning relay team.

Now, he brings that same elite experience and leadership to our swimmers in Opelika. Help us congratulate Coach Tyler on this well-deserved recognition!
