⭐Runner up at the Dizzy Dean State Tournament⭐

Our girls started the day in the winners bracket finals with a 12-6 victory over the ER Heat All-Stars to take us into the championship game. The ER Heat fell short in a tough back and forth game against the EB Elite to send the EB Elite to the championship game. Our defense came to play not allowing any runs for 3 innings, but we struggled to get our bats hot to get anything out of the infield. We fell short 1-7 with a 2nd chance at a victory having to be beaten twice. New game and that it was! Our girls battled, didn't give up, answered back with 5 runs twice. Top of the 2nd 3-3 bottom of the 4th 15-10. We needed to get on the board to seal the deal and just couldn't get that run across the plate. The EB Elite tied it up again in the top of the 6th to give us last at bat 15-15 and we didn't produce a hit so onto the INTB. We ended the game 17-20 bringing home runner up! It was a tough loss, but our girls held their heads high🩷🤍💚

Rock-Ettes Elite came to play this morning!
Our defense was lights out with multiple fly ball catches by Mags at 2B and lockdown stops, a sliding in foul territory catch by Maggie and also a double play catch by Maggie to end that inning and 2 fly balls caught at SS by Callie H!! The whole team showed what they were made of all over the field not giving up or letting a ball get by them! Callie H. had an in the park HR and we laid down our first successful bunt by Charley Rae🩷🤍💚

The girls beat the EB Elite 10-4 to take us into the winners bracket semi final tomorrow against the ER Heat All-Stars at 2:30!

These girls came out as Champs, but they sure had to make it difficult! The girls struggled on defense and we couldn't get our bats hot to make up for some mistakes. We went into the Championship undefeated for the tournament and we lost the championship game to take us onto a 1 inning shootout. We had first at bat with some clutch hits and great base running to give us a 4-0 lead. The girls needed to play through the heat and some mistakes from the previous game. We dug down deep with a double play by Maggie at 1B, keeping the ball in front in the outfield and Callie to seal the deal with a fly ball catch at SS 🩷🏆💚
Our final tournament as a team is this coming weekend with the Dizzy Dean State Tournament with our girls going into it seeded #2. Shout out to Charley Rae's big sister, Kaili from the Chattanooga Steam, for the pep talk after the game for both teams battling through the heat and to always cheering on the Rock-Ettes Elite!

Rock-Ettes Elite onto the championship after a strong team win against the Bat Crazy Cheetahs 13-2. Callie H. had a HR and fly ball catches and Landry caught her first big hit to the outfield fly ball and multiple stops to hold hitters to singles.
