Congratulations to Grady Vogele on a well deserved award!!
This week's Coach Brown Spotlight Student of the Week is Grady Vogele! Grady is a Junior at Oologah High School and is the son of Joe and Tana Vogele. Grady is one of the amazing and talented anglers for the Oologah Fishing Team! Vogele was nominated by Head Fishing Coach Edwin Evers.
Coach Evers loves the passion and dedication that Grady brings to his craft and the fishing program saying,“Grady makes every practice on time and normally stays late! He also has done a lot of volunteer work whether it be at the Bass Pro Shops or other locations when we have asked. He’s been very passionate and takes his bass fishing very seriously. He’s very dedicated to this sport and wants to pursue it further.” When asked what he liked best about Coach Evers, Grady said,”My favorite thing about Coach Evers is how he is willing to help me learn and how much he cares. He will always help me if I ever need it!” Grady’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Ramsey! “She has always cared for her students, and she always talks to me when she sees me”, Grady stated.
Grady's heroes are his dad and Pa! When explaining why, he said the following, “they are my heroes because of their work ethic and how they show love to everyone!”
Grady’s favorite restaurant is “Ichiban” and his go-to order is the Chicken Hibachi Dinner! In his free time, Grady loves to fish. In the future, he plans to go fish in college and earn a business degree.
It’s students like Grady that make Oologah High School an amazing place! Keep up the good work!
