Tomar café con un familiar, un amor o un amigo.

Decir varios "te amo" Amar sin miedo…
Mañana puede ser demasiado tarde.
Ojalá que podamos hacer lo que tenemos ganas en el día de hoy...mañana y después...

An utter tragedy.

The cost of lives (and limbs) lost in Iraq and Afghanistan over the last two decades is incalculable…

And now, with practically zero resistance...

The Taliban has taken over major cities across Afghanistan, including the capital city Kabul.

The president has fled.

Citizens are desperately trying to flee.

360,000 people have been uprooted from their homes*

And it was July 8th, just 5 weeks ago, after pulling remaining US troops out when President Biden said:

“The likelihood there’s going to be the Taliban overrunning everything and owning the whole country is highly unlikely.”*

Look, I’m not here to criticize the president or his advisors.

Instead, I’d like to point out something far more important:

Politicians get stuff wrong all the time.

For example:

They want to take away your ability to protect yourself with a gun...
..(while surrounding themselves with armed security).

They also told you to stay locked down at home
..(while they went to parties and got haircuts).

No matter what you believe or which way you lean politically, we can all agree there’s an ugly amount of hypocrisy, waste, and bad decision making.

On one hand, there are some truly amazing, selfless public servants.

And on the other hand, there are some really bad apples.

The people writing the news script and the people writing new policies are OUT OF TOUCH with what YOU and your neighbors are up against.

They (and their policy proposals) don’t know what it’s like for you when you lock your doors, tuck the kids in at night, drive to work, and so on...

But we do.

Is it rational to want to protect yourself from the increasing violent crime we’re seeing across America?

Yes.
