If you or someone you know is a victim of the flooding around Black Lake and cleaning supplies or dry goods are in short supply, please stop by the Black Lake Golf Club⛳️ (2800 Maxon Road) this Saturday, May 9 between 12:00 - 3:00PM.

Items donated by the UAW will be set up at a station in the golf club parking lot.🚗

Among the donated items are:

Paper products
Trash bags
Bleach wipes
Bottled water
Canned and packaged food
Disposable wipes
Bedding items
And clothing

We are excited to share the NEW expanded Black Lake Grille menu with you!

The staff at the Clubhouse is ready to serve up some new dishes 🥗🥪along with tried and true favorites. 🍔🍕

🍽️The Black Lake Grille is now open seven days a week.
(Hours may vary in the shoulder season)

NOTE: The Friday night Fish Fry and Sunday Breakfast Buffet will be offered later in the season. We will announce when those dining options are available. Stay tuned!

📣ATTENTION📢 Black Lake area residents:

Starting this Friday, May 8 through Monday, June 1 UAW Black Lake will open our locker room shower facilities 🚿on MONDAYS and FRIDAYS from 1:00 - 4:00 PM to our neighbors dealing with flood clean-up so those without running water can clean-up themselves if they are in need of a warm shower. 🚿

* You MUST report to the Guard House at the Main Gate to check in before parking in the Outside Lot where a hotel shuttle 🚐 will pick you up to transport you to the entrance near the locker rooms. (There is no parking lot near the Recreation Center.)

**Please bring your own toiletries and towels.
***Non-hotel guest access is limited to the locker rooms only.

Please spread the word that Mercy Chefs will be passing out free meals to Black Lake/Onaway area flood victims at the UAW Black Lake Golf Club parking lot - TUESDAY (Today) through SATURDAY (May 2).

Lunch 11 AM - 1 PM
Dinner 4 PM - 6 PM

Thank you to Mercy Chefs, the volunteers, and all those who have donated to that organization for helping those in need around Black Lake, Onaway, and Cheboygan!!❤️

The Red Pine Market next to the Center's Main Gate will be opening for the season on Monday!

RPM is accessible from Maxon Road or from within the Center grounds.

*April 27 - May 1 the hours of operation will be 8AM - 4:15PM*

If you are in need of snacks, beverages, bags of ice, firewood, or sundries, stop by and check it out.

Thank you all for your concern about the Old Lodge and the entire Center! The Black Lake waters continue to recede slowly and our Maintenance crew is preparing to go into cleanup and repair mode as soon as they can safely work in the affected areas.

The UAW Black Lake Golf Club is in very good shape and we are pleased to announce that the course will open for the 2026 season on Sunday, April 26 at 11AM!🏌️‍♂️🏌️

The Black Lake Grille in our clubhouse will open for the season on Monday, April 27 at 8AM! 🍽️ 🍳

Our staff is doing what we can but we cannot beat Mother Nature right now and Black Lake is currently surrounding the Old Lodge.

Views of the Beach House and the creek that empties into Black Lake near it and of the “Rental Shack” that is in between the pavilion and the Old Lodge right on the beach.
