We accomplished a few things tonight.
- Start a race from Pole ✔️
- Lead some laps ✔️
- Gain speed✔️

We raced at Ona Speedway tonight for the 40 lap Late Model special race. Qualified 3rd, with our quickest lap yet, 18.410. Had to pill draw for the invert, and drew a 1. Started the race from the Pole, and led the first 20 laps of the race by almost a straightaway.
Competition Caution came on lap 20 and got us. We didn't have the grip to hang onto the lead and went back to 3rd, where we finished. Still ran some amazing laps and have some good notes. That's 2 podium finishes in a row!

Overall, we are gaining speed each race, qualifying a tenth or more better each time. In hindsight, 4 fresh tires would've helped us more, but we only put on 2 new tires for this race. The car was really free the second half.

Congrats to our friend, Carson Lucas on the win!

Thank you to Dad, Mom, Glynn and everyone who helps us out. The car sure did look good leading the race for a while!

Tomorrow night it gets serious!

We have the biggest All Seasons Powersports - Huntington Late Model race of the year with the State Electric Supply Co. 40, the start of the Run for the Title and a full night of short track racing!

Come out, get loud and experience why Saturday night excitement starts at Ona Speedway!

We raced at Ona Speedway last night in the Late Model.

Qualified 3rd, with our best qualifying laps so far.

Started 4th after the invert draw, and thought we had a pretty good piece. Car got a little loose during the race and wasn't able to put the power down as much as we wanted to. We ran top 3 the whole race, even re-started front row once, and finished in 3rd, our first Podium finish!

Come on Mother Nature, we want to race!

We were supposed to be racing at The Salem Speedway today for the only Late Model showing there, this year. But weather cancelled the races.
Our other option was to head to Ona Speedway to race the Late Model. It was also cancelled due to weather.

Maybe we'll get to race again soon!

Tried everything he could to make the pass, battling a very loose race car. Great race!
