Nebraska Academy of Martial Arts, LLC Taekwondo, Self Defense The Nebraska Academy of Martial Arts (NAMA) held its first class on February 28, 1994. Dale Miller. www.nama402.com

That class was taught by the founder and chief instructor, Kimberly Woolery, and her instructor, Mr. In 2017, Mr Anthony Ray bought the school to continue the tradition of excellence that NAMA is known for. Mr Ray has 40+ years experience in taekwondo and various other Martial Arts, including two amateur Golden Gloves boxing championships. Mr Ray is also a veteran and Tech Sgt in the Nebraska Air

National Guard. The Nebraska Academy of Martial Arts hosts many activities through the year: such as a regional TKD tournament every January, an adult summer camp every August, several kid’s lock-ins, six belt testings, and six belt rank ceremonies every year. While our focus is on traditional taekwondo, we also integrate joint locks, pressure points, grappling, boxing, and self defense into our curriculum
