Today, the 2026 baseball season came to an end, and this team has so much to be proud of.
Coming into the season, not many people gave this young group much credit. But time and time again, they proved what they were made of. They battled through adversity, overcame challenges, and never stopped competing. No matter the situation, they showed heart, resilience, and determination.
Coach O'Gorman shared with the team today just how proud he is to have had the opportunity to coach them. Not simply because of the games they won or the obstacles they overcame, but because of the way they supported one another every step of the way. This isn't just another baseball team these young men are brothers. The bonds they have built, the memories they have created, and the way they fought for each other are what make this group truly special.
As we look ahead, the future is incredibly bright. With 12 of the 16 players from the 2026 varsity roster returning, the foundation has been laid for something special. The experience gained this season, combined with the commitment and character of this group, gives us every reason to be excited about what's to come.
To our seniors: thank you.
Thank you for your leadership, your passion, your work ethic, and the example you set every single day. Your impact on this program goes far beyond wins and losses. You helped build the culture that will continue long after you've moved on. We are incredibly grateful for everything you gave to this program and could not be prouder of the young men you've become. We wish you nothing but success in the next chapter of your lives, and you will always be a part of this baseball family.

Now it's time to rest. It's time to let the bodies heal, enjoy the offseason, and reflect on an unforgettable year. But while this chapter has closed, excitement is already building for the next one.
