Day three, and today's the BIG day for The Omaha Boat Sports and Travel Show! Come see us at booth 1237...come register for a chance to win "Try Scuba for 2" or a month of Swim Lessons! Stay and talk to us about all things swimming, water safety, lifeguarding, scuba gear and service, and travel! Nicole and I will be your fresh and saltwater experts and offering show specials until 9pm! Nicole will be here tomorrow with some of our travel gurus, too!

(You could stick around and see some other cool things like boats and RVs while you're here, too...)

We had the amazing pleasure of touring the HBO facilities at UNMC tonight! We had the opportunity to visit and throw some industry-related Q&A with experts, Drs. Cooper and Thacker, and gain a deeper understanding of what, why and WHEN they do when called to action. We learned that Omaha is an incredibly lucky city for this amazing facility! Who knew divers in the most landlocked state had it so good! (Well....IYKYK!)

Diventures is honored to have not only world-class opportunities and facilities like this in Omaha, but to also have a group of dive professionals so interested in furthering their understanding of diving sciences when given the opportunity to "dive deeper". (Unintentional pun there!)

Key takeaway for all divers....it was reinforced by medical professionals, that you can know your tables, watch your computers, dive a perfectly safe profile, and still get DCS!

Thank you to Dr Cooper, Dr. Thacker, Michael Poole, Dean Hollis, and Nicole Peña for this opportunity tonight! (Bonus points if you take note of the names of the chambers!)

Diventures was founded in 2009 by a team of swim and scuba enthusiasts who saw a need for specialized swim and scuba training and resources in the Midwest. Since our inception, we’ve expanded to multiple locations, bringing personalized, concierge service and training to swimmers and divers.
