Last night was everything we hoped it would be. 💙

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Mike and Robin and the incredible impact they’ve had on Peak Performance and the Omaha running and walking community.

The stories, the old shirts, the familiar faces, the hugs, the memories — it was such a special reminder that Mike and Robin didn’t just build a store or an event. They helped build a community.

For decades, they have welcomed runners, walkers, volunteers, race directors, families, beginners, longtime customers, and friends through the doors and into something bigger. Last night was a celebration of all of that.

A special thank you to and for partnering with us and helping make the night so meaningful.

And to Mike and Robin: thank you for the years, the miles, the memories, and the community you helped create. Your impact will continue to be felt for a long time. 💙

For decades, Mike and Robin have been part of the story behind Omaha’s running and walking community — from Omaha’s Running and Walking Store to Peak Performance, from Beer & Bagel to countless races, fittings, friendships, finish lines, and memories made along the way.

They didn’t just sell shoes.
They built community.
They welcomed people in.
They helped create a place where runners, walkers, families, beginners, race directors, volunteers, and longtime friends could all feel at home.
