🎃👻 Spooktacular Halloween Class Alert Tomorrow! 👻🎃

Get ready for a ghoulishly good time at Omaha Blue Waves Martial Arts! Join us for a special Halloween-themed class on Tuesday, October 29th at 6:00 PM where costumes are encouraged! 🦸‍♂️🧛‍♀️ There will be no other classes that evening. All ranks and ages welcome.

Let your creativity shine, but remember: costumes should allow for easy breathing and movement, with no dangerous accessories, or sparkles that will fall off on the floor. We recommend wearing uniform pants for the best experience!

After the class, we’ll treat our brave little martial artists to a small candy giveaway! 🍬 If you'd prefer your child to skip the sweets, just let us know so we can opt them out of the fun.

Important Note: Regular classes resume on Wednesday. We’ll be closed on Halloween night, so don’t miss out on this fang-tastic event! 🎉

A Journey Through Time...

I recently came across an old photo from 1983, taken right after I started my career in law enforcement. It’s incredible to think about how much time has flown since then! Throughout my journey, I had the honor of serving in three departments across two states, eventually retiring in 2005 as an Assistant Chief of Police. Following that, I spent another seven years as a regional ATOD Director, dedicating over 29 years to public service.

Since retiring, I’ve turned my lifelong passion for martial arts into a new career, one that I’m fortunate to share with my wife and daughter. Reflecting on this journey, I’m grateful for the experiences and the path I’ve traveled. Time truly does fly!
