Statistically speaking, most home burglaries take place between 10am and 3pm. This is because traditionally speaking, most people are away at work during that time. A burglar does not want to run into a home owner because it's much easier to simply show up, get what they are looking for, and leave.
Whether you work from home now or if you are still commuting to work, make sure your home LOOKS as though someone is home at all times. This drastically reduces the likelihood that your house will be chosen.
