What a perfect fall day at Hitchcock Nature Center! The weather was cool and the paths were dry. After the hike we met at Henry’s Diner in Crescent for some lunch. Delicious!

This is our favorite place to train. Come join us for a hike or ruck through the woods and lunch at Henry’s diner afterwards!

It was a great birthday for Amanda! We went for a walk in the woods - great people on a great new trail. We will be returning to Hummel Park Nature Center and checking out the Missouri Riverfront Trail soon.

This was our first year participating in the 9/11 Stair Challenge where we climbed 110 flights of stairs in remembrance of the fire fighters that gave their lives that day in an attempt to save others. All proceeds went to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. This year they had a new record high participation and funds raised! We are honored to help.

The NERC has signed up for the Nebraska 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb to honor one of the 343 FDNY firefighters who gave everything on 9/11. Climbing 110 stories is our way of saying we will never forget their courage and sacrifice.
