Creating for a memorial service is never easy. I logged into Tinkercad and started building. I chose a holographic P-Flat sheet, Royal Blue Silk, Bambu Black Glitter, and a layer of white mesh. I’ve been following and his journey through homelessness, 5 STDs, and a whole lot of chaos and shame. Josh has recently relocated from New York to Atlanta and entered a program where he now has a room, but the weight of his past and the fight for stability are still very real. His honesty about all of it hit me so hard, I reached out and asked if I could gift him a prayer chair.

I run a unique 3D printing business , and one of the things I create is what I call ‘prayer chairs’ that people can buy for themselves or as a gift. He said yes, and Josh chose his colors. And this is the final result. My hope is that every time he looks at his little chair, he remembers he’s seen, he’s valued, and God is not done with his story yet.
