The NFHS has approved several important rules changes and clarifications for the 2026-27 season. MNS Association is hosting an IHSA LEVEL 1 Clinic on June 18, 2026.

BASKETBALL OFFICIALS:

There will be an Exposure Officials Camp, taking place on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at:

Rich Township High School
5000 Sauk Trail Rd.
Richton Park, Illinois 60471

The camp will have Assignors from different High School Conferences and College Conferences in the surrounding Chicagoland Area.

Chicago Public League
Southland Athletic Conference
Southwest Suburban Conference
Chicago Prep Conference
River Valley Conference
Independent League Conference
Skyway Conference / Independent JC Schools
Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference

The games will begin at 9:00am and will conclude at 8:30pm. These are Varsity Level High School Games with Assignors and Observers present. The Camp fee is $50 and each official will have a minimum of 2 games with 1 game on and 1 game off format to converse with Assignors and Observers.

All officials who choose to participate will also have an opportunity to work on the next
day, Thursday , June 18, 2026 for a Sophomore tournament, where all officials will be paid $30.00 per game.

Officials who participate in the camp will get the 1st opportunities to accept the Sophomore games.
