Equine LEAD offers equine facilitated experiential learning (EFEL). Clients learn based on the Eponaquest Approach, an internationally recognized EFEL program. You will learn skill sets for personal and professional development. Check out our website for session options.

🐴The Way of the Horse 🗓Sept 25 / 5:30-7pm

Horses invite us into a way of being that is rooted in truth, presence, and authenticity. In this reflective equine coaching experience, we explore The Way of the Horse where connection is not something we try to create, but something that naturally emerges when we show up as our true selves. In the presence of horses, there is no need to impress, only an invitation to be real. This session offers a supportive space to reconnect with your authentic self and discover how true connection begins from within.

Thursday students learned the steps to saddling, created obstacle courses and navigated them, discussed considerations for objects according to their horse, and practiced various steering maneuvers! 🤠

Wednesday students beat the heat with building obstacle courses for horsemanship skills, learned about equine body parts and common equine illnesses, and experiencing English riding while working on crossing midline 🤠

First time trail riding Shawnee National Forest!
📍Little Lusk Campground

We had a beautiful day ride in Shawnee, perfect weather, and great group of people to ride with- White Squirrel Saddle Club. Thankful to have finally made it after 13yrs of living so close to this vast trail system. 😅 Definitely won’t be the last ride there!

Little Lusk was well kept, friendly owners at the lodge, easy haul in and parking. Guides and horses for rent available.
