The boys managed to cut a 10-run lead in half this morning but it wasn’t enough to keep them alive in this final tournament of their 2025 year.

There is much nostalgia in the air as the Sandy Spring Athletic Association completes its merger with OBGC. 12U will proudly carry the name “Falcons” into next year and be the last team to represent Sandy Spring Baseball at Cooperstown in July. We intend to be as wholly good to it as it’s been to us.

Here’s to a 2026 with our heads and wings all the way up. ☝️
