The student of the week for last week is .....Ally!

Ally is a some what newer student of mine but in the few months she has been taking lessons she catches on quickly and does an awesome job putting her new found knowledge to work!

Ally is thoughtful and very focused! She works through things that make her nervous and pushes herself to be the best she can be.

She shows that through patience and determination you can conquer fears! Not to mention she always has a smile on her face and is very refreshing to work with!

Great job Ally! Keep up the good work!

Hey guys! I didn't forget about you! life has just been crazy lately!

To be more positive I'm going to be picking a student of the week each week and posting their picture and three accomplishments they should be proud of!

Let's remember that riding is supposed to be fun and enjoyable, never stop trying and you will only get better!

This week's Student of The Week is **** Miranda! ******

Miranda is always trying her best and takes every bit of advice into consideration. No matter what she doesn't get discouraged.

Her accomplishments to be proud of are -
-She can tack up the horse all on her own!
- She listens to her horse and is caring!
- She has worked her way up to starting to canter!

Great Job Miranda!! Keep up the good work!

New and exciting things coming! Planning lots of fun things for students this summer!

Lois ( pictured with Katrina) has been a great help volunteering to earn her riding time by cleaning stalls and helping clean the barn getting ready for all the visitors. Such a hard worker!

I've been trying to get everything done in and out of the barn before I invite all my students back, so I apologize if I haven't gotten back to you!

Hey everyone! I'm working hard on making improvements to the barn and the riding program, things are moving along nicely!

But.... I'm afraid I've hit a creative block, we need a better name! 🤦‍♀️ The barn needs a name as well as the program, but I'm having trouble thinking of potential names.

If you have any ideas for a barn name or a name for the lesson program please comment them below! If we pick a name I'll be having a sign made! Looking forward to hearing everyone's ideas! 😊🐴

Hey everyone! Spring is here and we are excited for more warm sunny days ahead! Check out Arabella doing an awesome job on Katrina!

Arabella has been coming for a few months now and has started riding without the lunge line. This lesson we learned about what to do in an emergency and other safety precautions. Arabella knows to keep her heels pointed down! Great job!

If you're interested in signing your child up for lessons there is still plenty of availability at this time, but I do fill up fast once the weather starts to stay nice. Please message or call for any information!

Take a look at Austin doing an amazing job learning on Katrina! The snow and slush isn't stopping these two! Look at those relaxed reins and how concentrated Katrina is on listening to her rider. These two make a great team.🐴

These guys were more than happy to get outside and play in the snow today. See if you can see Katrina "smiling"! Fun fact - Her "smiling" is called the flehmen response. It is fun to see, but it is actually a way to start some really cool activity in the brain. Cats, big cats, goats and deer are some other animals that have this response.

A sneak peak at the up and coming round pen! It's all measured out, I have the main gate made and all the fence posts. Just waiting for a warm day to set the posts and I still have to order the fencing material, but it's a start!
